Lovely food and really amazing helpful staff. However not too happy with the lack of allergen info on the menu, specifically labeling items which could be gluten free. Feels like a bit of a step backwards.

Service:
All staff were friendly and professional. I can't fault them. The highlight of our visit.
Food:
My wife chose a vegetable Thai-style Red Curry. The portion was miniscule, with negligible vegetables visible and no spicy curry taste at all.
I chose your Signature Flatbread with Chicken and Chorizo. Why on earth did somebody think that putting a sheet of paper on the plate was a good idea? The mind boggles! Separating it from the flatbread was almost impossible. My chicken kebab must have been under a warming light for hours as everything on the kebab skewer was chewy to the point of spitting most if it out. The hot honey dressing was good though.
I'll not recommend the pub food to anybody. Rubbish!

Customer service was shocking we waited ages for our dessert the excuse was this kitchen was busy! Despite the car park being half full and the pub the same will never return again!

Me and my dad visited with the intention of eating dinner today. The waitress came and took our order, wherein i clearly asked for a beef burger, and even pointed it out on the menu. Then, we get served two sunday roasts, which i then corrected her and told her i didn’t order that. Then, out comes the burger which was a. missing the beef brisket as described on the menu, b. the chips were brown and cold and c. no sauces offered. because of this; me and my dad didn’t eat together we ate 30 minutes apart. Really disappointed. Had to send food back. Won’t be returning and would avoid.

The pub was warm and clean.the food was fantastic .the only one negative was the starters although very tasty. The prices you pay for what you get is a little high.but would still recommend

Delicious food, although the portion sizes for the starters (especially the chicken tenders) and the sides was quite disappointing for the price. Service and atmosphere was amazing.

Great pub, lovely food and excellent service. Stayed for a weekend on the caravan site. Very welcoming & Tom was particularly good at Sunday breakfast service.

Good overall quality of food, prices are now on the higher side for what you get and portions have shrunk. Pricing for puddings is unnecessarily high.

Lovely place , we stayed in the hotel and the rooms are really comfortable and spacious. This is a nicely run, friendly pub with good beer and food. What’s not to like.

Our table was booked for 7.30 pm. Our order was taken but after waiting over 1 hour (could have been longer), no food had arrived. When we enquired where our food was we were told that the order had not been put through the till. Although there appeared to be sufficient staff working, no one actually checked on us - it was obvious that we hadn't had any food. We then had to wait another 20 or so minutes before the starters came. We were offered free drinks but as none of us were drinking, we declined. The food was lovely. We did receive a discount which was appreciated but apprehensive about returning in case it happens again.

I went in because it looked amazing am not faulting about that but they were apparently full when there were empty tables with no reservations on them and still they didn't let me and my family have a meal when we were starving hungry.

Just about meets the goal of ‘standard pub food’ although the scampi was not very hot and some of the pieces were mushy. Butter for toast almost frozen.
Nothing at all to rush back for.

For what you pay the portions are small. The waitress was keen to up sell the menu, on two occasions she promised alternatives to standard menu but failed to mention the additional cost for the alternative. My wife selected triple cooked chips but when the food arrived it was served with French fries, very disappointed.

Great stay, nice room! Had dinner there also. Bought drinks from the bar, paid by card where there is an option to leave a tip. Would have left a tip each transaction but for the young gentlemen barman looking over the machine to see if I pressed to give tip….so I didn’t!
